“I probably had one of the most insane proposals imaginable. Long story short: we are passionate quad bikers and Rhodes has become our second home. We were out with friends on our quads and made a short stop at a restaurant. My boyfriend went to the restroom and didn’t come back.

Then, I received a call from the 'German Embassy'—which, of course, was all perfectly planned and made up. They told me he had been arrested; apparently, we had been tracked via GPS into a military zone on our quads and he was now being accused of espionage. I was told to go to a specific meeting point sent to my phone to identify myself. Naturally, I was totally frantic and just glad our friends were with us.

We set off, followed the GPS coordinates, and finally arrived. We walked down an avenue, looking for the military base. When we reached a plateau, I looked around, completely confused. Suddenly, a woman (Renate) put her arm around me and said: 'Come with me.' And there I stood, at the Cross of Filerimos—music playing, flowers, candles, and then my boyfriend in a sharp suit. It was unbelievable. And of course, I said 'YES! '

We had a wonderful photo shoot, toasted with champagne, and felt an instant connection with Renate and Tommy. A huge thank you to you two; it was truly incredible! The organization of this whole story was just wild! Just imagine: the hand-off of the suit to Tommy, Tommy picking up my boyfriend from the restaurant, the phone call from the 'embassy'—everything was perfectly timed.
